Pegotec developed the new Mabuhay St. Francis Healthcare Website for Mabuhay–St. Francis of Assisi Primary Health Care Program, a non-profit organization providing medical, dental, and community health services in Bugko, Northern Samar, Philippines. The site offers the organization a modern, bilingual platform to showcase its work, attract donations and members, and share stories from the field with supporters in Germany and around the world.

The client’s goal was straightforward: replace an outdated website with a professional, easy-to-manage site that clearly explains their mission and makes it simple for people to support their work.

Mabuhay–St. Francis promotes health, dignity, and community development through medical and dental care, child nutrition, senior programs, herbal production, and emergency response for people with low income and marginalized communities in Northern Samar.

The Mabuhay team can now independently update texts, images, newsletters, and program information without technical support.

  The “Our Programs” and “About Us” sections detail the clinic’s main activities: medical and dental clinics, a children’s nutrition program, a senior program, herbal production, a water station, and emergency assistance during calamities.
• Newsletter Archive
  A structured newsletter archive lets supporters access past newsletters (going back many years) as downloadable PDFs—fully aligned with the proposal’s requirement for a PDF newsletter archive.
• Partner & Supporter Pages
  Individual partner pages (e.g., German Club Manila, Rotary, Winterpine Group) highlight long-term supporters and explain how collaboration enables the clinic’s work.
• Internship & Guest Reports
  Detailed reports from interns and guests provide authentic stories from the clinic, making the program’s impact tangible and offering guidance for future volunteers.
• Calendar & Visit Planning
  A calendar section supports the planning of visits, internships, and activities, reflecting the exceptional functionality defined in the proposal for a booking/availability calendar.

Performance, Accessibility, and SEO by Design

From the start, the project was planned as a fast, accessible, and search-friendly site:

• Responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop
• SEO-optimized structure with clean URLs, metadata, headings, and image alt texts in both German and English
• Accessibility-conscious design, including readable typography and clear contrast
• Integration of Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor traffic, engagement, and search performance over time
