In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Pegotec, in collaboration with Web Essentials and Germany’s GIZ, developed a COVID-19 extension for the IDPoor app, repurposing it to support affected families in Cambodia. The team enhanced the app’s functionality to provide real-time data about families in need, optimizing aid delivery, and ensuring that support was targeted effectively. This joint effort resulted in over 60,000 households registered for assistance, demonstrating the transformative power of technology combined with commitment during times of adversity.
